Prof Tim Morris

Professor Tim Morris is a veterinary surgeon with a PhD in large animal reproduction.  He has worked for wide range of clients including equine organisations, animal sporting bodies, science and animal feed companies and was a non-executive member the UK Government’s Animal Health and Welfare Board for England which is the source of Ministerial advice on animal health and welfare. In this role he was also an advisor to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare (APGAW) and he raised the issue of small abattoirs with that group which led to the work with Marisa Heath on an inquiry and the subsequent report The Future of Small Abattoirs.

Professor Morris is an advisor to the ASG developing its policy work and focusing on the role of the OV and regulatory framework.
